yes! I feel so randomly happy on estrogen, I never felt that way with testosterone dominance. I also can handle so much more stress / activity.
Now I can go to the grocery store on Friday and have social plans Saturday and still feel OK Sunday, etc. - whereas before HRT, that schedule would ruin me for at least a week and I wouldn't be able to have plans the whole next week and weekend to help me recover (sometimes it was longer, like a month).
I also noticed I needed less sleep and felt more rested. Before estrogen, I needed to sleep a lot and most nights I slept 11 - 12 hours, but I always woke up tired and struggled to feel alert enough basically all day - and this was true even after I lost lots of weight and stopped having sleep apnea which I thought was the cause.
After estrogen, I sleep 6 - 8 hours on a normal night and feel rested in the morning, and I struggle to sleep more than 10 hours now. I would describe estrogen as making me fairly "normal".
yeah! 🏳️⚧️
I'm so happy for you girl. Thanks for sharing!
I like to describe this as estrogen making the "make happy" button in my brain work. That's excellent for you!
