Ok serious question If this does indeed happen to me (which, considering I live above the arctic circle is a distinct possibility at this time of year), will the E remain dissolved or will I need to heat it up to make it usable after it thaws?

Sometimes organic compounds can be completely destroyed by too high or low temperatures (as in, a chemical reaction occurs that permanently turns it into something else, so returning it to normal temperature doesn't fix it). I don't know to what extent that's true for your hormone drug, but I'd guess that heating it up above room temperature is probably an even worse idea than letting it freeze.

They undergo terminal heat treatment for sterilisation purposes. I think to 120°C but I might be wrong about that. Most hormones are stable at low temperatures (biological materials are routinely stored using liquid nitrogen) but sometimes chemicals will fall out of solution at low temperatures.

Low temperatures will cause the estradiol to crystallize and precipitate out of solution. If this happens, warm it back up to room temperature, and reintegrate it by agitating the solution (by shaking, for instance). Higher concentrations of estradiol tend to be harder to reabsorb into solution, so if you've got 40mg/mL vials like me, it may be somewhat difficult. I'm unsure if a small amount of heat would be okay, but I definitely wouldn't recommend heating it significantly (not beyond body temperature).

Stick it in my armpit, got it.

Yes, this would work, but I'd recommend scrubbing the vial seal with an alcohol prep pad for 30 seconds afterwards before returning it to storage.

Yeah, I have no intention of injecting armpit microflora.

i'd imagine putting it in your palms (assuming you have warm hands) and rolling the vial would be another approved procedure

Also, so she is still sending them? I guess it's just my order that has been "processing" for the last month 🙁
