It is with great pleasure I inform you

Or

It is my great pleasure to inform you

I think the grammatical inaccuracy is part of the meme template

If it is, then I've only seen the worst uses of it. That's the first I've heard of it being like that intentionally.

How'd it go? Did you use a module?

[–] TheGreatDarkness@ttrpg.network 4 points 4 months ago (1 children)

not many modules for Mage, we did session of character awakenings and early interactions.

[–] DeusUmbra@lemmy.world 2 points 4 months ago

Yeah, I figured there wouldn't be. Still, awesome, I hope you all had a great time with the awakenings.

I'm a fan of the Palladium games, much more of the universes than the system, especially Rifts, after the bomb & TMNT, and beyond the supernatural

If I could find players for them I'd be running three or four games. Sadly I only have players for one, currently playing Rifts, but switching over to turtles once the Kickstarter new versions arrive

Ah, yes. The system where you need multiple "session 0"s to get those character sheets in order. Also, there's a suspicious lack of Robotech in that list. ;)

Wait, what? Palladium games got in on the reboot craze too?!

I played a lot of robotech back in the day, but never bought the books or ran a game

The updates are polishing the old rules. It's not a significant change, just clears up where they were ambiguous

Proud of you. Now going for an all-technocratic party game?

[–] TheGreatDarkness@ttrpg.network 2 points 4 months ago

Maybe one day, let's see how well Mage chronicle goes.

I have a long running DnD 5e game tonight, and on Fridays I'm running DC20 (which is similar heroic fantasy, currently in beta but still lots of fun)

Plot twist, OP runs Vampire, Werewolf, Mage, and soon will do a multi-ethnic World of darkness game with all of them at the same table

As someone who tried to run a 4/5 Hunter: The Reckoning-1/5 Mage: The Ascension, as bad ass as it sounds it is an absolute nightmare to run.
