I've seen people post about how black cats are not popular because they do not photo well.
I disagree, I think they photo well.
It's just a solid colour with eyes floating there. They make great photos.

I grew up with a gorgeous black cat with short but compact fur, she was a mix of siamese, Norwegian forrest cat and Swedish farm cat.
She was a brilliant huntress, caught plenty of mice and fieldfares, and somehow, managed to come home with the tail of a squirrel...
Oh the black kittens. I had a tiny black kitten Anonymous who was the worst cat ever. Screeched and wouldn't let me pick him up or pet him, crawled into inaccessible places and peed where it couldn't be cleaned, tore up merchandise in the shop. He was such a nightmare of a kitten but one day (and it really felt like a change from one day to the next) emerged an enormous long haired black tomcat. Sweetest natured big cat. So affectionate, he would put his paws on my cheeks to "kiss" me. Smart too, still a little evil, jealous of any boyfriends. But such a wonderful adult cat. Rest in peace, Anonymous.
