I think we need a startled cats community here.

Hey there GM here,

i polled my group and we landed on Jade Regent as the next campaign we want to tackle (it would be the first in that constellation of 6 players).

Those Campaign Traits, seem rather important, and every playercharacter should have one to have stakes in the Adventure and relationships to the main non-player characters, right?

What about the Caravan Submodule, is it worth it to use/transplant from 1e to 2e?

Also the Calender Year, I haven't found anything (or skimmed over it), when does the Adventure starts (year and month/season)?

About the play:

We are 6 players + me as the GM, and play roughly monthly in person. We have access to Herolab.online and a FoundryVTT server. My notes and conversion I keep in a Obsidian Vault with TTRPG plugins.

This is your somewhat regularly scheduled Stop Killing Games update.

Stop Killing Games is an European Citizens Initiative aiming to keep games playable even after their developers and publishers have stopped supporting it.

Germany has hit the threshold sometime yesterday evening. France has also started to catch up. They are still below 50% but there growth over the last couple of days has been the biggest. Netherlands and Denmark are still in the low 90s.

The milestone comes on the eve of this years Gamescom in Cologne, Germany which is set to kick off today. SKG is not going to have an official presence there. (I've checked with the organisers) But if you are attending and want to help spread the word I'm happy to share official marketing material, either in the form of flyers or the files for flyers, so you can print your own. They come in both German and English. If you want some, send me a DM.

He was a stray that distributed himself to my friend's house, but they have to do some adjustments so they can keep him isolated from their other cat for a while, so he's on vacation at ours. He's a complete lovebug and total derp.

So, I've been getting into GBA and want some recommendations. I've been playing advance wars and really like it, anyone know any similar games? (Not fire emblem because permadeath is an annoying mechanic?

We saw The Beths opening for Alvvays last night and it was amazing.

The previews so far are more positive than I imagined.... Sh2 is one of my all time favorites. I will eat my words if bloober actually pulls this off!

Hokay, so.

I’m on HRT and have been for a decade and change. This is real cool, except how basically every interaction with cisgenderedists gets me misgendered, and a hearty “sir” or a flurry of “he/hims” levied my way. I mean, fuck, I can be standing there in knee-high boots, a leather skirt, and a cropped hoodie and I get misgendered as fuuuck.

“So change shit up, motherfucker.”

I do a phone job and my voice is believably feminine in both English and Japanese, which is cool, but something about my real life existence just reeks of masculinity.

Can’t really do makeup cause the structures responsible for processing my face are damaged. I can tell what emotion I’m making, but I can’t perceive enough of my face to draw well on it. Also since I’ve had two strokes, even if I could, I’d prolly do eyeliner wings like a fuckin’ gridiron player.

I got beautiful wavy blonde hair that goes down past my butt, and though I don’t have the manual dexterity to style that really well with buns and braids and such, I can at least try shit other than the basic nape-of-neck ponytail.

Also I’m flat as your average golf course: maybe two discernible bumps, and that’s fuckin’ it. Also I’m ace as fuck so if they were any bigger I’d get real self-conscious about it.

At least I got a fashion sense that makes Square Enix jealous.

I’m gonna figure shit out that works for me, either that or I’m gonna keep on tolerating the injustices of the bastards who never thought to play with the character creator.
