I've been in therapy for a few months and I really want to start HRT soon but I don't know if my therapist will write me the required letter. If she doesn't by the end of this month I'm going to start doing DIY, is there anything I should know about the process before I get started, anything I should be aware of? Are there risks or side effects. Things that I should be aware of before going in

P.S. Don't give me any of that crap about detransitioning, you don't know me well enough to say I would, frankly I'll never call myself a boy again, not of my own volition or to capitulate to others.

Edit: Thank you all so much for the information and resources, sorry if I wasn't able to respond to people's comments sooner, things have been hard and I've been busy lately.

I’m watching Common Side Effects, personally I don’t find that good but anyway it makes me think

I’m in Eclipse Phase phase and I was wondering how I could use the premise of the show into the setting of EP

For those that don’t know EP is a d100 roll under, hard sci-fi techno horror rpg. There’s a intelligent nano-virus (exurgent virus) that create psycher like character in one of it’s less malignant form.

I was thinking that a scum (communal partying drug loving faction, live life at her fullest, living in cycler spaceship) DrugDJ found old strain of magic mushroom and try to grow it like a pet project. Ultimately the shroom got infected with a brand of the exurgent nanoviri, maybe the DrugDj got infected and choose to use the mushroom to infect other and it’s back fire.

After that the blank page appears and it’s here that I ask for your help

The tower is the lair of a cursed green adult dragon and the dungeon in the Hells is where the party must find an artifact to remove the curse. Of course, they could just kill the dragon too.

some guy i came across hates white people and all of europe, and says “asians are the superior race”, that he hates animals and believes that people 18+ are minors but then says 5 yr olds are adults

not only this, but he told someone “you’re 15 go do your homework bro 🤡” despite apparently being 13 (but later claims to have studied at uni), hates feminine men/masculine girls, calls themselves a masculine girl despite being a guy, and calls everyone a “stupid asshole” for posting stuff…

“all english people like little kids”, “black, mexican, white and arabs are sub human rats” and he thinks there are only two genders and that people can’t be gay or gender non conforming but “supports” the LGBTQ.

somehow he has “many friends” and a girlfriend…

Hello fellow trans community my name is CyaraKaira transgender woman originally from Uganda.. I fled my home country due persecution that resulted from the Anti-homosexual bill. I fled to Kenya where I was put in a refugee camp. Here I faced a lot of persecution more than what I faced from my home country. I beaten several times, stripped naked, cut with machetes andremovedd on several occasions. My life was really hell that I had to flee to South Sudan a war country and mostly with hostile people. You may ask I chose this country it’s because I had no choice honestly but it was the nearest to where I was. I’m currently facing lots of challenges including lack of food and medication. I have been sick for week now but have no help. I will be glad for your support to access medication any donations will mean a lot. I’m also will to share my story because I have a lot to share. Thank you

With anti-trans legislation taking shape across Canada, the question of which jurisdictions remain safe for trans people is on a lot of people’s minds. Transfeminine jurist and activist Celeste Trianon began producing the Canadian Anti-Trans Risk Map in 2023 to provide some answers. The map colour-codes each Canadian province and territory, as well as the country as a whole, according to the level of risk each jurisdiction’s government poses to its trans residents. Inspired by a similar project in the U.S., produced by trans journalist and public commentator Erin Reed, Trianon wanted to visualize the anti-trans political movement so she could answer the question, “I’m planning on moving to Canada: where should I go?”

Legal literacy is important to Trianon, who is based in Montreal, Quebec. Much of the general population “has no idea what is happening, especially with respect to legislation” targeting trans rights, she says. But some parts of Canada are much worse for trans people than others, and people, both within the LGBTQ2S+ community and without, need to know the difference.

Trianon works from the assumption that every jurisdiction—be it a province, territory or the country as a whole—is at “medium risk” of enacting a law or policy that harms trans people. Since she began monitoring anti-trans legal developments, Trianon has noticed the “biggest shift” in Alberta and Saskatchewan, where anti-trans legislation has been passed, and Manitoba and New Brunswick, “where things have gone down,” she says. Alberta currently ranks on her map as having the “worst active anti-trans laws,” thanks to recent provincial legislation restricting gender-affirming healthcare for trans youth and making it more difficult for all youth to change their names and pronouns at school.

She deems Manitoba, New Brunswick and Yukon to be “low risk” jurisdictions. These are provinces and territories that have taken active steps to be more inclusive and protective of their trans residents.

The rules for encounter building and XP rewards in PF2E are great. If your party is all about the same level and you know how difficult of an encounter you want to throw at them it's really easy to build that encounter. As in so many things, the core Pathfinder math Just Works.

But what is hidden behind it? What if, due to player shenanigans, the encounter ends up being very different than you planned or there is a completely unplanned combat? Or you're just curious about how the encounter math works behind the scenes?

Well, here's how it works: Creatures of level 1 and above are worth 160 XP/level. So, a level 2 creature is worth 320 XP and a level 10 is worth 1600 XP. Creatures of level -2, -1 and 0 are worth 40, 80 and 120XP respectively.

To get the per character XP reward for defeating the encounter, total the XP for the creatures in the encounter and divide by the total PC levels at the table.

For example: an encounter of one level 2 and two level 1s is worth 640XP. If faced by a four person party each of level two, thats 640/(4 * 2) = 80XP per character. Or that same 640XP encounter by a party of two level 2 and one level 1? 640/(2+2+1) = 128XP per character.

Granted, this can get silly if the creature levels are way out of whack, which is why in the encounter building rules they don't have table for creatures more than +-3 levels away from the PCs. But just in case you have an odd party or an odd encounter, the math is pretty easy.
