One of our cats likes to give my husband “hugs.” She climbs up on his shoulder just like that. He is definitely her person.

I have to give my 14yo cat pills now and if that second shot of the cat with a pill in its mouth isn’t photoshopped, I’m seriously impressed by the photographer.

The TikToker knew what they were doing.

Edit: this could read like I support the idea of trying some random shit on the internet to solve a problem. On the contrary, I think the TikToker knew that turmeric stains and wanted to cause some chaos.

The things we put up with, amirite? She’s stupid adorable though

For us it’s not just saving time; it’s preventing prissy cats from going somewhere we don’t want them to go because one of the others used the box and now it’s “too icky.” When the somewhere we don’t want is often the bed or even my pillow, it’s worth it.

Seconding. Reading the other less-effusive comments has been interesting because I feel quite strongly about it. It was I think $600 when we got it and it was so difficult to stomach spending that kind of dough on a fucking litter box but now I’d drop it again in a heartbeat if anything ever happened to this one. That said, I also have three cats and now one of them has hyperthyroidism so we have to dump it every day and a half or so. It’s so often but I cannot imagine doing it with a regular litter box.

Though we got her from a shelter, one of ours definitely picked us. We were cuddling a different kitten who looked extremely similar, and she was making a huge racket from her kennel. There was a post-it note on it that said “HOLD” so we assumed someone was coming back for her, but since she was yowling so much, we asked what it meant. The staff didn’t know; one of them went to find out, came back and tore the post-it note off the kennel. So of course we asked if we could hold her. She snuggled up to me and licked my chest immediately. So of course we adopted both of them. Funny enough, she is now 99% my husband’s cat.

I’m jealous of your seal points. Always wanted one, but I exclusively adopt so I take what I can get. I do try and get floofs though. Here’s Sansa’s dating profile pic:

For real though, what is the point in a space above a cabinet like that except to collect dust (and cats apparently)?

When we first introduced my dog, my young cat, about 2 years old at the time I think, somehow managed to literally climb the wall and perch six feet up with her feet against each wall at a corner. I’m still not sure how she did it and I almost don’t trust my memory except it was seared in because I was so in shock.
