Every time a pic of this book gets posted somewhere I get the urge to rewatch The Magicians because it reminds me of when Penny lost the ability to cast with his hands so the Librarians tried to teach him sphincter magic.
Not names, just adjectives.
They're even the right colors for my 6.5lb spotted lady and 14lb orange torpedo
We're pretty lucky to have him, too.
Today happens to be the first anniversary of us adopting Laszlo (shelter name Timber).
There's been a lot of snuggles in the last year.

Zozo strained a tendon last week so he's forced to postpone his calling of being an orange rocket. He's healing up though.
I'll go ahead continue today's trend of awesome orange kitties.
Our Laszlo (aka Zozo) likes to show up early in my work day so he can watch all the little faces during my morning meetings while using my wrist as a pillow. Then we turn on some youtube cat tv if he sticks around after meetings are over.
We adopted Timber (age 4) today from the a rescue in Springfield Oregon. He's only been with us about 4 hours but he's already settling in.
We met him at a multi-rescue adaption event this afternoon and were told we'd be called this week to finish the process. Then about 45 minutes later they called to tell us the loud event was making him miserable and they'd be happy to have us take him to our nice quiet home. He's currently in our 2nd bedroom to let him acclimate for a week or so before introducing him to our other cat and the rest of the house. He was very stressed at first but by the end of the first hour he was already training us how he likes to be petted, and how he drools when you're doing it right.

It's the same as December, but the blanket is dirty and there's an empty box with a shred of wrapping paper taped to its flap that's been on the corner of the bed for 2 weeks.
