But the flag was removed over the weekend in response to a recent memo from the interior department that stated only US flags, agency flags and the POW/MIA flag are allowed at parks, although there are some exceptions for flags that “provide historical context”.

Seems pretty obvious that a Pride flag at the officially recognized historical site of one of the most influential LGBTQ+ events is "providing historical context".

Yes, if you look at it from a sane person's POV and not from a fascistoid need to erase history.
