No I'm transitioning into my mom

Real talk though that was something I had to work through. Accepting that to the majority of people I'm going to look strange/odd/offputting and realizing that that's really not what's important. As long as I like what I look like, it doesn't matter what others think.

Also the struggle of realizing you look like your own mother

Better than looking like my dad but with hair πŸ™ƒ

(Plus i consider my mom to be pretty, and to have aged well. I'm very okay with that as a possibility)

I actually had a bit more of a jolt in catching a glimpse of my long passed grandmother. But most people probably need a few more years on them to get that one

Um actually estrogen makes us way prettier lol.

I agree with pixeltree though, I'm definitely looking more like my mom πŸ˜†

It's not that looking like your mom is inherently bad, it just feels freaky when you're not used to it.

I had that thought in my head for a long time, which postponed my transition at least another year or two.

Turns out I was completely wrong. Not only do I like myself in the mirror now waaay more than before I even have people that... desire me?? That is such a weird and novel feeling.

It is! That was SO unexpected to me. I thought I was choosing to be alone :( Nope, more love in my life than there has ever been!

I feel like that's a bad-faith argument because the same assholes want y'all to not have access to puberty blockers etc. and (if I understand correctly) not having those masculine facial features develop in the first place is the best way to avoid that outcome.

Insulting attractiveness is just a tried and true way of discounting and undermining women they don't like. Feminists are just fat catlady blue haired sjws or whatever, while conventionally attractive women in media are seen as a victory over "woke" even if the media itself is explicitly goes against their fascist ideology.

i miss when "blue hairs" referred to little old ladies
