I had the stupidest cat I've ever had (calico, not orange) and we were hanging out outside in the middle of the night while I barbecued. a mouse-sized rat ran directly onto her paws. she looked at me like "well now what am I supposed to do" and then picked it up by its scruff. started trotting around the yard so proud it "caught" a rat. only other thing she ever caught was a cold.
