If you ask someone like SomeOrdinaryGamers about it, he would say it is terrible but it was inevitable. Bad actors have GenAI. Epstein was probably in on it before he died in custody.

Lewd AI deepfakes of women and children was already happening with Grok. This is News but it isn't new. Obv this is going to spread now that everyone has the tools to do it. ...I'm not looking forward to living in a future where AI child porn is as prevalent as hentai and gore.

Honestly I think it was more on 4chan than anywhere else. The beginning of this was open source models.

People started hearing about it when OpenAIs models and Grok started being mainstream.

Yeah.. that makes sense. What you're describing about "People...hearing about it" was my experience, too.
