TIL. Not that I'd ever thought of crossing their paths, but my kitties thank you just in case.

Blessings to your babies 😍

Do not feed citrus to cats, do not feed chocolate to dogs and do not feed avocado to parrots.

Researching safe and unsafe foods should be a basic prerequisite to owning a pet.

Do not feed pineapple pizza to an Italian.

Funny that you'll have to stop dogs from getting to chocolate, while cat out here just knows it shouldn't eat citrus

Another proof that cats were never fully domesticated and still retain some of their primal instincts? I mean, besides them murdering all local wildlife if let outside.

Chocolate is also very poisonous for cats, but unlike dogs, they're usually smart enough not to eat it. I think lilies are the only things that they occasionally chew on that is poisonous to them (and they are extremely poisonous to them).

True, but we both know what should be frequently isn't. In my defense, I'd never try to give my cats something that wasn't labeled specifically for them, anyway - although I'll acknowledge that's still no guarantee.
