Empty? You mean when there is 1 cm^2^ of the bottom of the center of the bowl visible even though there is still a large halo of food in the bowl? You go over, shake the bowl so the remaining food covers the bottom of the bowl and they're happy again?

Just get a bowl that has a printing of kibble on the bottom. 😤
