Babysitting my mom’s three cats. She left a box of Churu. They like them a lot. I was surprised. I thought it was just a few rare internet videos I have watched. Cats really like this.

The Washington, D.C.-based couple’s lives were torn apart on December 10 when U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained Perez-Zuazo during what was expected to be a routine annual check-in at an ICE facility in Chantilly, Virginia.

While Blanco Gallegos is a U.S. citizen, Perez-Zuazo is undocumented. Originally from Panama, Perez-Zuazo entered the U.S. at the Texas/Mexico border in November 2021. After being processed by authorities, Perez-Zuazo was released and allowed to live with a sponsor in Washington D.C. There, he met Blanco Gallegos, and the two married in February 2024. Since then, they have pursued a Green Card for Perez-Zuazo. His I-130 petition — the first step for a U.S. citizen like Blanco Gallegos to sponsor a spouse for a Green Card — was approved.

That process came to an abrupt halt in December however, when Perez-Zuazo reported for his annual check-in with ICE. As The New York Times reported this week, under the Trump administration, federal agents have arrested thousands of people showing up for such routine immigration appointments and court hearings. Immigrant rights advocates say the tactic has effectively turned a mandatory part of the legal immigration process into a trap.

This has happened too many times to be a coincidence and it's always men from Taimi that already know I'm trans, it's never the men from Hinge whom I date stealth.

They invite you over everything seems nice until you tell them you don't want sex. I'm asexual, and this leads to some agressive reaction from him always followed by "you're too young and immature you can't be asexual" with tarnsphobic remarks. ALWAYS the same sentences.

This last time this guy yelled at me saying "You think I'm stupid? You're asexual but post pictures of your fat ass in your profile" I'm not joking he literally said that shit 💀

Mind you they're not pictures of my butt, I'm fully clothed, this is an example:

It's funny how I never get these reactions from men that I'm having a date with while stealth, not even when I tell them later. They either don't care or just tell me they're not interested in trans people, but the guys who are from Taimi seem to be the most transphobic and deranged.

Hi all, hope this is the right place to put a question like this.

I am looking for a potential roleplaying game to play with my kid (9 years), but there is absolutely no interest for anything fantasy or sci-fi. Just a love of anything animals and recently we discovered Everdell as a cool boardgame for our family. Root is another boardgame that in style would fit our interests.

Does anyone know of any roleplaying game featuring animals having jobs, building communities? Fighting monsters or evil dudes is not completely off the table I think, I am sure I could tone that down myself if necessary. Bonus plus if it features art like the two games I mentioned.

Thanks!

This is my sister in law’s cat, the one she rescued. He’s very playful, insanely friendly, and just absurdly cute. I had my hand on the backrest of the couch… and realized I had caught his attention.

Hi, I'm Domi.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I just wanted to say that you have all helped me a great deal.

It's been long and slow journey unpacking the huge pile of internalised phobias that were pumped into my brain as an assumed male growing up in the 90s and 2000s. I have spent a long time in this very self-loathing "everyone is valid except me" way of thinking.

I've been reading your stories for a long time, the beautiful trans joy and difficult and terrible things too. You being here, being yourselves in all your glory, it has been a way for me to feel community and connection even before I could admit to myself who I really was.

So thank you all, thank you for sharing your joy, thank you sharing your hard times, thank you so much for being who you are. You've done more to help me than you can know.

Dice are pretty much synonymous with RPGs, but there are a few rare systems that forego them altogether, like Castle Falkenstein.

What are some other systems that don't use dice? Are there any that completely remove luck/random chance on "important player actions"?
