I was thinking it was AI at first, but I settled on it being a scan of a photograph which then got processed weirdly by the scanning software

Meets some of the requirements of !taneggs@lemmy.ca

  • [X] prey animal
  • [X] mammal
  • [ ] lives in a barren rocky landscape
  • [X] looks like a tan egg

They look much happier in their current habitat

Larry is still around, but this new cat might be in training for the role

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/larry-the-cat-downing-street-death-b2602158.html

Downing Street officials are preparing a “media plan” to announce the eventual passing of Larry the cat.

Larry has become a widely loved fixture of Downing Street and is often seen outside the door to Number 10 during major political events and news broadcasts.

The 17-year-old ‘chief mouser’ is thought to be in his final years, having already outlived the average lifespan for a tabby cat.

While one source said that, at present, Larry is “doing OK”, another said: “We felt it had to be handled so sensitively.”

An extra fun fact:

The cat, who was adopted from Battersea Cats Home, was first brought into Downing Street by David Cameron as a pet for his children and has since outlasted five prime ministers.

I love these little signs

Sadie can jump the fence, as a treat

I wonder if Sadie tries to teach the other goats

I was a little unsure by the rules on if this would be appropriate for the community. I don't know many other generic animal communities.

If there is a better one please share, because I'd love to subscribe to more

https://mmrpatients.org/patient/pv2366-sweet-tooth/

Reason for admission: Marine Mammal Disturbance, Emaciated, Wounds

Sweet Tooth has demonstrated that he is confident eating fish on his own and that he can compete for food with other harbour seals. He has been moved to a larger pool where he can further test and improve his skills. He will move between pools as he progresses further and develops his skills until he reaches his release weight. It can take just a few weeks or several months before a patient is ready for release, depending on health status and treatment plan, weight gain and transport availability.
