Do they accept older cats? Recently adopted cats from a shelter? Preexisting conditions? How much is the premium? Etc.
Sisal carpet is better than rope for cats is my understanding. There are some places online that sell carpet remnants for cats. You can just hot glue the carpet to a cardboard tube on or an existing cat post.
