This can only work if they change their neuliberal ideology and the myth of the free market regulating. They have to answer the issues of the inequalities. Otherwise, they banned symbols and profits. But, the ideology will still be present. And this one, you have to address social and systemic issues to fight it.

Trump isn't the only one. You have this trend all over the world. People know that it's looking like Nazi. But,
The government's inaction on foreseeable issues stemmed from a reliance on neoliberal principles, holding onto the notion that capitalism's magic would resolve all problems—a perspective maintained for the past three decades.
Trump and others are the solution that they didn't try. Plot twist, it won't change, Nazi were capitalist. But, it's like choosing between the worst and the really bad.
This is more than a cost issue. It's a knowledge issue. Countries can't lost this type of knowledge otherwise they lost independence as well.

It's nothing new in a neoliberal world. It's up to the individual and the capital want to grow at any cost.
Maybe maybe having laws and regulations controlling misinformation on social media would be a great thing. Social media have to be accountable for it with huge fines.
A social media isn't free speech or freedom of speech, it's in most case a private company making profits. When someone post something on Facebook or whatever else, it's cognitive work so meta in this case can make profits out of it. It's fine to regulate them on what can and can't be show to the user. These services aren't the street.
The other important point is to educate people in the schools. We need programs of education to vaccination. It's not magic. Virus and bacteria are still around. We didn't magically kill them with vaccination. We are immune to them being around thanks to vaccines. Next to this, we have to educate on how we develop them too.
An other point is mandatory and free vaccination. Vaccines are too important for the human health. We can't afford people not vaccinating their kids.
