I hope she's bouncing around with her hyper-zoomies wherever she may be. She deserved so much more.
The one thing we know is that while she was in pain, she went fast after we took her to the emergency vet. This whole time we thought maybe it was just some bad gas, but afterward we determined she had contracted feline coronavirus (not Covid) before she was rescued with her littermates from a barn with their momma.
Yeah, she was my housemate's cat for the short time we had her. Before we lost Sweets not even 2 months ago, she had bonded with her as well, so this was supposed to be her 2nd chance... and while we're all devastated, she was beyond destroyed. Phil bonded with me, Riley to my other housemate, and Woflie... he's kinda the house ho, getting love from everyone. There's a chance we'll adopt again in about a year, as this pain is just too fresh.
Really wasn't expecting to post again in this community about negative situations again, but our newest addition just left us after only two weeks. FIV absolutely fucking sucks. She was just shy of five months old.

Thank you. Voids really are the awesomest. We do plan on adopting/rescuing another void kitty in the near future, but we don't want it to be too soon either. Still really weird not having her around.
This was Sweets, aka Sweets Petites From the Streets Who Eats Treats, aka Sweetie. We sent her over the rainbow bridge this past Monday, as she was in a losing battle with tongue cancer. We gave her the best life we could. It feels like the world was always stacked against her, but she was a fighter. She had the voice of an elderly smoker, and she was part of our little framily.
She will be missed. We're in the process of setting up a tiny shrine for her ashes, as well as a bit of jewelry to keep her with us at all times.
For being a radio demon, he is quite the cute little bugger.
