I'm sorry, but in 2025 making fake photos, even holding today's newspaper, and creating legit looking websites is the bare minimum. I'm not merciless, but I see fake gofundmes all the time. And honestly trying to resort to personal attacks doesn't help, because that's the main tactic of scammers, playing with people's emotions. I wish a true way to increase trust in these posts existed. I'm just being realistic.

Most likely, anti-pride users kept reporting the page until a bored, or homophobic, moderator finally approved the reports. Another possibility is Meta are replacing all moderation with AI. In both cases, this is still on Meta since this directly comes from the degrarion of protection of DEI groups.

I understand your POV and agree, but also try to remember that corporations are made up of people, including LGBT+ people who usually drive these initiatives. Corporations pulling out their support should be seen as a mine canary, signaling less safe work environments for queer folk.
