I keep forgetting that in the USA it's normal to keep cats indoors. In my country it's the opposite, it's the norm for cats to go outside. We think that "jailing" them in a house isn't appropriate. I've seen cats that were kept indoors, they were like depressed slobs despite their many toys and cat trees and whatnot in comparison to the ones that get to go outside as they please.
That's not standard issue, that's the extra fat version
