If you write it down you have to pay attention to it.

Back filling as you go is easier, and the other players can hold min maxers in their place as well as a DM.

Like, I never played much but we knew a dude who would always claim undisclosed knowledge or experience relevant to whatever was happening. So eventually in-game we just started calling him a liar, and the DM went with.

For example we needed food so he suddenly was an expert in foraging, but he really wasn't so no one else ate the berries and he had severe diarrhea the next few game days.

It's self regulating, don't try stupid shit or stupid shit happens to you.

If Middle Earth had guns, Gandalf definitely would have carried an AK instead of a stick.

Tolkein fought in WW1, it's no wonder he romanticized a time when wars were fought with swords. His war was a meat grinder over literal inches. Just waved of bullets and bombs that killed indiscriminately.

So he built a world where combat was about skill and one highly trained and motivated person could beat 100 enemies face to face

The people in WW1 with the highest kill counts were the ones that spent 12 hours a day loading shells into artillery miles from the fighting.

Ferrets aren't for fighting, ferrets are for quicksand defense

Everyone knows you can't be a Beastmaster without a couple ferrets...

This man has zero ferrets, so he can't be a Beastmaster.

If you ban it. It feeds until the delusion that they're persecuted.

I think the right move is always allowing it, but requiring a tag [ai] so it's obvious.

If people don't like it, they can down vote it. Or block accounts that always post it.

If the people posting it don't want down votes, they can post to one of many explicitly pro-ai coms where mods ban people for down voting.

The only issue may be the ai fans are probably going to build bots to upvote anything tagged as AI. They tend to be weird and really care about votes.

Always thought it was hilarious pitties have that tough reputation...

But as soon as it gets below 60 degrees they all do their best Tiny Tim impressions

The same way they're able to take human shape and move instead of sitting in a pile...

Shit, some of them talk

You can. But you dont have to.

Their saliva softens the part their working on enough, and whatever they swallow is still digestible

Yak chews are apparently the shit...

My dog flips out over them, even when it's just an old one I found under the couch and he already has multiple out to chew on

When people talk about generations, absolutely no one is ever going to mean 100% of people in that generation.

How is Gen X getting blamed for that?

Helicopter parenting was just something boomers did because they tend to like micromanaging and assume they're the smartest ever.

Pretty much every generation (in America at least) that wasn't raised by boomers was "free range".

The mom leaves them alone for like 12-18 hours a day, but it will come back.

Too many people think if it's alone for an hour it needs saved.

The mom leaves the fawns alone for so long, because if they're walking around they're a liability. It won't be up and moving till it's off milk and learning to forage.
