Everybody is on a list. But a list of ip addresses visiting trans subreddits would be amazing for ICE.
florencia
I remind myself that reddit wants to resell a list of trans people to ICE. While @ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone will tell data brokers to get wrecked.
Seriously though, from a data perspective Reddit can just delete whole subreddits because a rich person will tell them to. While a weird question you have and a correct answer somebody gives will stay accessible via the fediverse.
The whole point of sublingual is to extract the maximum amount of available estrogen from the pill. So my bigger worry is that it would be totally ineffective.
estrogen tablets without a shell/coating
I'm just taking about the generic tablets. Sugar & estrogen squeezed into an oval shape.
Can I ask why you are wondering about this?
Well:
I’ve recently heard the phrase “anything that can be taken sublingual can be taken rectally”.
But it seems to me that it solves the swallowing issue but adds that you might expel it if a bowel movement occurs shortly after.
WTH.
Obviously I did not. Thank you for pointing it out.
For me it was 1mg, 4mg total. I'm guessing they made actual sublingual pills for the study, but I broke apart oral 2mgs to make it work. No waking up. Every 4 hours fits neatly into my awake time. Starting at 7 in the morning then last dose at 7 in the evening.
I do concede there are times I wanted to just give up and beg for injections. Get a wristwatch with timers. If it's a smart watch get a medication app that dings you. I think android and ios have native medication apps that can ping you. After so many months now the medication has become ritualized. Also they sell cute pill travel cases with a compact mirror.
I just copied the treatment plan from https://doi.org/10.1089/trgh.2023.0022
No apparent advantage my ass, monotherapy is monotherapy.
Almost always cheaper too. And in terms of quality think breaking bad where everything is like 97% correct and most of the issues is that it's 3% less potent than advertised.
Assuming 18 years old: You go to doctor (hopefully), they pull out a questionnaire and you talk about gender for a few minutes, warn you about the side effects of medicine, give you starting dose prescription which should give you psychological effects but not too many physical effects, tell you to get blood work before next appointment in a few months.
Next appointment they review if the medicine had an effect in your blood, ask if you've noticed any changes, double ask if you have any concerns about the changes, then hopefully they start getting serious about getting your blood results to where they should be.
As @magic_smoke@lemmy.blahaj.zone states, other doctors will be more backed up and most of the wait time should be in the waiting room.
I'm tired boss
Congratulations!
