The centre core point is collaborative storytelling. Which means working with the others at the table, not going off to do your own thing.

Would I go into that forest? Sure, why not. Either it will be a fun adventure, or a TPK (which can be fun in its own way, and hopefully also be educational for the GM).

So you were actively refusing to engage with the game? I sure hope you're a better GM than you are a player.

Aww, jelly. I have the Action Decks, but not custom bennies. Didn't even know those were a thing. The sheer tactile pleasure of a good poker chip type disk is second only to a good set of dice. I'm convinced that chips are largely responsible for the success of the board game Splendor.

I picked up all the Last Parsec books last year. Now they sit sadly on my shelf. Wish I could find some interested players.

Anything sci-fi, using the Savage Worlds system.

I can't find players. Locally, I can't find anyone playing anything other than 5e. Online, I've been able to find players for various non-5e systems, but haven't managed to organise a sci-fi SWADE campaign (yet).
