My favorite flowers are Calla Lilies although I don’t really have a specific reason like you. Actually maybe that’s not true. I love the way the green of the stem blends into the white of the flower seamlessly, and I made and painted a clay Calla Lily for my mom for Mother’s Day when I was in elementary school
What I would do is just tell them LOL but this is a much better option so listen to this person
