Yes. As someone who is also not in the position to express my identity outwards, I love these avatar makers.

I've been playing with those for a really long time, I love them! A lot of them are old flash games or HTML5 ones. I love picrews, but the website has me blocked so I looked into other options. Here's my list!

So most of that was personal exploration. After that I found this reddit post which is a catalogue of a lot of these flash creators. You could use The flashpoint archive to search, download, then play them offline with ruffle. Hope this helps!
