This seems really interesting, and the die mechanic means that it’s easy to get knocked down from the best level but progressively harder to fall further.

The only dice I trust are Platonic solids. D10s are no bueno, and this D11 bullshit is just silly.
I feel like this is more “when you successfully convince the DM that your paisley cloak blends with the wall of flowers they just described.”

One of the most popular DnD characters is a member of an “evil” race who proves that it’s not a racial feature but a cultural one.

I think I was 11 or 12 when I heard a gay man say “how does anyone think this is a choice? Why would I choose a life that makes me more likely to be the victim of violence and oppression?” and I thought “that’s a good point, I guess it’s not a choice then.” I apply the same logic to trans folks. It’s not easy to transition, the only reason to do it would be because what is outside doesn’t match what is inside. Same reason I exercise, which is harder than watching Netflix on the couch but miles easier than transitioning.
Fighter/rogue who didn’t make charisma a dump stat.
