I suspect that Zelinskiy knows something the analyst don’t.
The worst thing about it is that both parties are neoliberal. On the economics side, it's just an illusion of choice. They only differ on social issues.
Israel argued that because Jews were affected by a genocide, Israel is therefore unable to commit it themselves.
Then Biden is ignoring that this might cost him the reelection that’s coming up. Left-leaning people even in the US aren’t that keen on genocide, and a lot of them might just elect to stay at home rather than voting for an enabler.

I think an additional aspect is that if Jews all leave for Israel, there are no more left in Germany, which they are striving for very much. I don't think that most German Nazis absolutely want to kill them, they just want them to be gone out of their lives.
That was the reason why modern Israel was founded in the first place, nobody in the West wanted to keep the Jews at home, so they made them a place where they could stay. That was better publicity than killing them.

My personal guess is that Zaluzhnyi has some something bad (like corruption) that is about to become public, and Zelenskiy wants to be ahead of the curve in order to minimize the impact on the country's defense. This is the only situation where this move would make sense to me, at least.
