Sometimes sitting in weird positions might be a sign of pain in cats, even though it looks just cute and funny to us. If you ever notice continuing signs like that in your cat, especially paired with things like older age or licking some spots exessively, it's best to consult vet just in case. They might be just lil' weirdoes like they sometimes are, but it's better to be safe than sorry

I think it's very human to react with "oh now you care", but being realistic - what's the alternative for accepting their change of mind? These people won't just stop existing and there's already so many of them. Getting as many as possible to change is so much better than becoming like them and wanting to erase everyone in the wrong or some crazy shit.
No matter how hard it is, we kinda have to welcome them, because only that way anyone that might still be persuaded can see it is in fact possible to change their mind, that they won't just be fully abandoned from society when their "own" turn on them. It is hard enough to admit you were wrong, but us being smug about it doesn't exactly lower the bar. Of course it's fucking difficult considering all the shit assholes of these types say and do, but again... what else can we do if we genuinely want to better the world?
Soon after my girl died, we were going to move to a different place, and for some reason I was so afraid she'd be left behind?? I don't believe in ghosts, but I guess that's grief for you. After we checked one possible apartment, I had a dream where she ran around the yard, and loved it. We moved there, and for around two years, I would sometimes see this dark smudge in the corner of my eye when I was having a walk. I loved to imagine she was checking on me. The smudges disappeared once my new puppy grew to be old enough, so it was like she knew I would be okay with a new guardian
