Yeah am curious to see how this goes as our cats, for whatever reason, do not want to drink from running water sources.

Would like to avoid plastic ones to be honest, from what I've read they are way more prone to bacteria and biofilm. Will stick to either stainless-steel or ceramic myself. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Dont buy cat toys that are small enough for them to swallow.

Hiya, got two very playful cats that both love to play. However often one ends up watching the other play with X toy. So was wondering if there are any specific toys where cats are "meant" to btoh use it at the same time? If so that would be cool.

So far we've mostly stuck to these original/typical toys, as in, paper bags, mouse on a thread and simple balls with bells, etc.. Feel free to suggest cat toys you've had most success with, need something new for our ones. Anyone here tried these automatically moving balls - any good?

Just wondering how you guys balance the mix of these. Our cats looooove wet food, but keep it as a treat for every now and then. Have to keep the wet cat food in a plastic sealed container as our cats will tear through the box they come in and dig their way through haha.

Hi!

So curious if anyone has any tips regarding this. We have our cat litter in the washroom of the house. The current cat sand we use has a distinct smell. While we are experimenting with different types of sand, they all, so far, have some sort of smell to them. Obviously it will also smell extra bad whenever the cats use the litter box. While we do remove the litter as soon as possible, we are curious if there are ways to at least mask the smell of the sand with something else... Anyone got any tips?

We've got one cat 6months and the other 3months old, currently both using the litterbox. However we're going to move to a new house soon, and eventually try to transition them to getting used to doing their business outdoors instead of the litterbox. Does anyone have any tips or best practices for this transition?

Edit: I dont live in the US, I live in Scandinavia - huge garden and away from traffic. The cats are fine being outside - most cats here are in fact outside. We have norwegian forest cats and they're meant to be both indoors and outdoors - even during winter!

Just adopted this little fella, welcome to the fam Sesam ! Was a bit afraid he wouldn't go well with our other kitten we already have, but 3 days in, they're already great friends, playing and sleeping together!

Difficult to say how tall the tree is for those wondering, but quite tall. It was another black cat that scared her up there... Been waiting for her to come down for one hour now.. ๐Ÿ™

Update: Safe and sound on ground level again ๐ŸŒป

Our little (6months) Nori girl, has just been to the vet to get castrated. What a champ she was! She's now recovering from the surgery, giving her unlimiteds (and much deserved) amounts of cuddles.

On the picture she's still drugged and asleep, even though her eyes are open. She was given eye gel to not have her eyes dry out too.

We've put her cat tower down on the floor so she doesn't have to jump to get into it. And made extra sleeping spots on the floor with warm wooly blankets. Got treats of all kinds and water bowls place in different spots for easy reach.

How's peoples experiences been with this process (the aftermath)? We got some painkillers for her to take daily, for 6 days. Any tips on making cats swallow pills easily? Is there anything extra one could do for the cat?

Have a nice day, and don't forget to cuddle your cat a little extra ๐Ÿ˜ป
