It's available in Canada, but I'm not sure about the UK. The large Italian sausages come in mild or spicy. We're not particularly big fans of the spicy variety, but mild is excellent. Not sure how they managed to simulate the somewhat dry and chunky inside of a pork sausage so well. There are also Beyond Breakfast Sausages, but I haven't tried them yet.

Couldn't agree with you more! I absolutely love Beyond Meat products. My wife is a life-long vegetarian, and she's the reason I consume 90% less meat than I used to. It's equal parts idealogy and convenience. It got really annoying having to constantly cook up my own seperate portions for dinner. I kind of liked her veggie alternatives, albeit lacking in previous years, but then Beyond Meat dropped and completely changed the game. Now I prefer Beyond Beef over real beef. It's cleaner, it tastes better, doesn't have to be seasoned, and I'm not taking something's life from it because I wanted to taste it in my mouth.

Beyond Sausage has also been perfected recently, and I eat a lot of those. I find the newest formula to be indistinguishable from real Italian sausages. And as a bonus, I manage at a grocery store, so I can order in those Gardein Supreme Chick'n fillets/nuggets, or the Gardein Seven-Grain Tenders and purchase them at cost. Saves us a fortune.

Any other suggestions? Plenty of room in my freezer!

I just spent ten minutes trying to figure out what the cutest breed of cow is, and just wound up feeling awful about the already miniscule amount of beef I still consume. Thinking it's time to call it quits entirely.

Scrungus is my favorite, but he is absolutely not a friend. He is a menace.

Milo / Mimo has a deep and peaceful soul that has been with my family for nearly eight years now. He is always the most serene presence in the house, and he always shows deep affection toward me, my wife, and my little girl. One of his preferred methods is to rest his forehead against mine with his eyes closed, purring for extended periods of time.

It's unfortunately very difficult to up and immigrate to Canada. You typically need a spouse who is a citizen, or have a very valuable skillset to offer. I believe you can come here as a foreign worker and apply for permanent residency after working full-time for a year, but I don't know what the stipulations or rate of acceptance is there.

I personally immigrated here from the States back in 2017 to be with my wife, and the process was grueling. They require a lot of evidence to prove the relationship was not initiated with the intent of immigrating.

That's a good idea. I have strong double-sided rug tape for hardwood floors that would work well.

I'll try these things. Thanks!

My one cat has soggy noodles for brains and has decided after nearly seven years that she's going to start scratching on the corners of our couch. She hasn't done any real damage yet, but she's caught in the act and ran off at least once per day. To make it worse, her cat tree (complete with multiple scratching posts) is in front of the window between the two couches, and 2/3 of the time she chooses those.

The couches are old at this point and covered in stains (they've survived nearly five years of parenthood), so they're not of significant value to us, but we would like to buy a new livingroom set. I don't know how to break this cat of her noodle-brained choices before doing so. Spray bottle doesn't do much good, as the noodles don't store enough memory to ever connect her actions to her consequence, and de-clawing is extremely cruel and not something we're open to.

I also use a cat of this archetype. This is the Florida Flopper style housecat, but is sometimes identified as a Louisiana Long-dog.
