Yeah! I do totally get where you're coming from. No worries about the length of the text, I enjoyed reading it.

I think in this case, mockery does not really do much. There needs to be larger punishments. Financial or prison time or something else idk.
There's the paradox of tolerance, and i think as a society globally, we've been tolerating intolerance for too long, and now we've ended up with fascists in the Whitehouse and in other governments around the world. It's a hard issue to solve. Idk what the solution is, but mockery doesn't seem to resolve it

Do hair transplants count as gender affirming care in a lot of places? I didn't realize they might be, and I have some research to do lol. I miss having a full head of hair

Well they've gone after minorities, gay people, and women. I think we're on track for them to target anyone with a disability and then they'll move on to anyone who doesn't have blond hair and blue eyes
I wish Alberta could just be...not so hostile.
Edit: Honestly, I give it 5 to 10 years, and it could be as bad as the states. Just depends on how bold the UCP are in that province/ how much sway the federal government has over the province. I hope things will improve for everyone's sake
