Linda Codega, for Io9 in January 2023, reported on the details from a leaked full copy of the OGL 1.1 including updated terms such as no longer authorizing use of the OGL1.0. the writing of the ogl was a little loose with that which allowed them to try. orc was made to fix that.

I would think. I have not seen that call made but I have for druids wildshape and no one has claimed dex can't be use. It says the same thing. unarmed attack modifier. which if you use wanders guide gives you a value that uses the higher of dex and str. also since this gives you the option of using a str or dex skill that would just seem to be more indication it should be so.

Honestly. Im not sure which door I would prefer to go through.

Personally I prefer if the dm does all the roles but im a theater of the mind kinda guy and prefer to just build my character and then say what they do.

not a gm but in a game I play in they use www.owlbear.rodeo and I don't think it costs anything and is pretty nice. its a play by discord. between that, wanders guide, and the kobold discord add on it pretty much covers everything.
