The bot missed what Stoltenberg said:

"The Nato chief, Jens Stoltenberg, has said any attack on the western military alliance would be met with a “united and forceful response”, after Donald Trump invited Russia to attack member countries that he perceived as not meeting their financial obligations.

Stoltenberg said in a statement: “Any suggestion that allies will not defend each other undermines all of our security, including that of the US, and puts American and European soldiers at increased risk. I expect that regardless of who wins the presidential election, the US will remain a strong and committed Nato ally.”

Nothing crazy.

Whatever marbles he had left, he lost them all...

Representatives of Del Monte Kenya have been accused of offering bribes in an attempt to cover up the circumstances in which four men died after going to steal pineapples from its farm in December.

The men’s bodies were recovered from a river on the vast plantation near Thika on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day last year. The four were part of a group of men who it is claimed were chased by the farm’s security guards after going to steal pineapples on 21 December.

"Ms. O’Neill’s elevation to first minister of Northern Ireland on Saturday will mark the first time that a politician who wishes to take the territory out of the United Kingdom has held that role."

Northern Ireland’s devolved government has reconvened after a two-year boycott, with Sinn Féin’s Michelle O’Neill due to make history by becoming the first nationalist first minister.

The former Democratic Unionist party leader, Edwin Poots, has been elected as Speaker by members.

Aaron and his fellows were trafficked into a prison-like compound called KK Park. Here, thousands of people are forced into criminality — to scam people in the US, Europe and China. The UN estimates that more than 100,000 people are being forced to work in scam centers in Myanmar.

DW's investigative unit met with several survivors of the compound. They described widespread surveillance, torture and even weekly murders.

KK Park's scamming operations trace back to a complex network of businesses and associations used by criminals to legitimize their crimes and launder millions in defrauded assets — and that network continues to expand from Southeast Asia to Africa, Europe and North America.

This is another blow to the regional stability.

The leaders of the three Sahel nations said it was a "sovereign decision" to leave the Economic Community of West African States "without delay."

The three countries were suspended from ECOWAS following the coups, and relations between them and the regional bloc have deteriorated for months.

Colombia is battling dozens of wildfires amid record-high temperatures in many parts of the country. President Gustavo Petro has declared a state of emergency to free up funds to fight the fires, which are also burning close to the capital, Bogota

AMSTERDAM, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Judges at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) will rule on Friday whether or not they will grant emergency measures against Israel following accusations by South Africa that the Israeli military operation in Gaza is a state-led genocide. Both sides want to protect their own fishery industries, which is proving to be major stumbling block. And Bangkok says the EU is asking for a more comprehensive and higher-caliber deal than Thailand has entered into with any of its existing free trade pacts.

The first round of negotiations took place last September in Brussels. The EU is Thailand's fourth largest trading partner, after China, the US and Japan, and bilateral trade was worth around €32 billion ($34.8 billion) in the first 10 months of 2023.

Two of the three ships were also identified in a recent report by the Royal United Services Institute thinktank. It showed a growth in transshipments from North Korea to Russia that “reveal that Russia has likely begun shipping North Korean munitions at scale”. A third was identified by NK News, an independent news website focusing on North Korea, as “part of a group of commercial vessels that have completed multiple deliveries of military equipment and munitions provided by the DPRK to Russia”.
