I think the conclusion is accurate given what the researchers found from what they measured during the study.
The results of any experimental study are be limited to the scope of the experiment, and the conclusion must be as well. This is science working as it does.
Everything you say about HRT is accurate as far as I'm aware, but those are only arguments you can make from meta-analyses that take into account the results of many studies.
Don't take the findings of single experimental studies conclusively. This study is a report on what was found with around 20 specific trans women over a 6 month period. This is published by scientists for other scientists, to direct, refute, or confirm other research. Read all expiriments in that light.

Thanks! This thread has such helpful information.
What is IPL? I do not speak acronyms.
Keep the photos personally, delete them publicly. That's my advice, in line with every other comment so far.
If you're not sure, consider all possible options and determine whichever is least worst option.

Proper haircare depends on your hair. The previously posted link is a good resource. It is obvious when someone grows their hair out for the first time without knowing how to care for it.
Basic advice would probably be, wash your hair with shampoo but not every day, use a conditioner, but don't rinse it off immediately it needs time to condition, and brush your hair with a brush starting from the ends moving up.
Your perceptions do not reflect reality. You look like a young woman. And you are not going to believe any of us no matter how many times we say it.
Unless you believe you were mistaken in wanting to be a woman, stay on HRT. Unless you believe your depression is caused by the HRT, stay on the HRT.
If you are depressed because you think you don't look like a woman, stopping HRT will not help.
There isn't much we can do on a discussion to help. A few kind comments and well wishes are not an effective treatment for depression. Do you have people in your life who you can go to for help? You need longterm help and support which is something a discussion community like this can't reasonably offer.
