Grip strength can be noticably reduced on E.

My dad frothing at the mouth about liberal indoctrination after a lifetime of dragging me to church every single Sunday and paying out the nose to send me exclusively to Christian schools to ensure I'd be indoctrinated into Christianity. Spoiler alert: it didn't work.

Just existing as yourself is fighting in and of itself. Refusing to be invisible and resolving to love yourself is the most important stand you can take in the face of hatred.

We've always been here and we always will. We aren't going anywhere.

Given the time period and how uninformed the author must be on trans issues, I can look past the fact they use male pronouns and her deadname to refer to her pre-transition, a lot of people still get that wrong today.

There is one odd sentence where they use her chosen name but male pronouns. They were talking about her saving up for surgery, so pre-transition, but they otherwise use her deadname when discussing that phase of her life. Just struck me as odd.

Yes, that was the whole point. Unsurprisingly, I don't regret this thing I did on purpose for several months.

If possible please do try to find a queer-friendly therapist, especially if they specialize in trans issues. I know it can heavily depend on your location and situation, but if it's a possibility it will save you a lot of money, time, doubt, and frustration that would've been spent burning through other mental health professionals.

Tbh all of high school and college 😮‍💨

The 2015 U.S. Transgender Survey conducted by the National Center for Transgender Equality found that only two percent of trans people were Republicans. By 2022, a large Washington Post / Kaiser Family Foundation poll found the number had risen to ten percent, suggesting that Angel is part of an ongoing trend.

This is the more shocking part of the article. Any sufficiently sized group will have some subset of assholes. The fact that the percentage of assholes has quadrupled in 7 years is troubling.

This is how you fly the trans flag to indicate we are currently in distress or immediate danger (it's upside-down)
