The conversation about wether or not they ARE nazis has concluded so hard that I never want it heard put into question again.

Ragmar: refused to take the Slayers oath because he’s too individualistic for that kind of nonsense. And so he did the next logical thing.

A dark and evil desire for a more compassionate world free from bigots and fascists. There I said it.

Good on them for stating it upfront though. (The mention of “alt-right” indicates a more recent version?).

Back in the 90’s/early 00’s it definitely attracted people both left and right winged.

However from my personal experience right wingers was more prevalent in wargaming compared to rpg’s. (Which really sucked because there you were enjoying a nice back n forth about Warhammer and then out comes the racist nazi talk…)

Games Workshop did good by making a pretty strong statement a while ago. But I’m afraid it’ll always be a thing.

Who’s a guwd bwoy? WHUZaGUDBWOIII?

My group consists of veterans to newcomers (it’s always such an honour).

Me: ok guys so you’re all captured by the local law enforcement/gestapo and escorted to the city gates towards the prison district.

Most players: oh no what do we do? Let’s carefully plan something.

New player once the doors unlock: * starts graciously doing acrobatics all over the place killing guards and even kissing a guard while she stabs him in the neck.

Like goddamnit guys, the clue was gestapo guards taking you away. The new one gets it!!!!

At this point I feel the rpg culture should be firmly separated again from the mainstream only to have the mainstream stand between itself and this kind of awfulness.
