She was an extra spicy feral and way too small to have had three kids. Her name was obvious as soon as she got here.

I picked up a Pepita and her three daughters a while back from a TNR. She doesn't like me. But she has decided my bed is the second best place to my wife's lap. When my wife goes to bed. And if she's there I can pet her. But not the rest of the time. The rest of the time I'm an enemy to everything she stands for. Whatever that is.

Here they are thinking about eating my basil.

About 20% of orange cats are female. After years of waiting for one I ended up with four on one day. And then more came. I currently have six orange girls. Probably the largest collection on the east coast.

TNR fails. But I knew when I picked up her three orange daughters that it was going to fail. I wasn't giving up orange girls.

My eyes are down here.

The two kids are boys. But orange girls are rare. They make up about 25% of orange cats.

But everything here is crazier than a few orange girls. My personal cat collection is 10 cats. Six of them are orange girls. I probably have the largest collection of orange girls on the East coast. Here are five of them:

TNR fail (lemmy.world)

Set three traps, got two cars in one and this orange girl in another. Drop off and pick up for the TNR the next day. We decided to keep all three girls a few days for recovery.

Then we get the call that the orange girl had two kids that the people were able to fetch and used a security camera to confirm that she was the mom.

Fortunately these two kids are young, blue eyes young, but not too young. They can eat wet food and mom is still lactating a little bit.

We released the other two today but now are temporarily stuck with orange mom and kid. The kids might go to the finders once fully weaned or might get put into the adoption system. Mom will eventually be rereleased.

Poor kid will never figure it out.

These are the say people that support doctors and pharmacists for not treating people they don't like. They are the ones that support cake shops from making gay cakes.

They are all very familiar with wanting the ability to discriminate. But they don't expect that they will be on the other side of it.

Clockwise 11:30 Charlie 1:00 Topaz 3:00 Papita 4:00 Tasselhoff 6:00 Lucy 9:00 Ellie

Charlie, Tasselhoff and Papita are also bobtails. So bonus rareness.

I have six orange girls. Probably the largest collection on the East coast that isn't a shelter or rescue.

As a person who fosters extra spices, I totally get this.

I knew two bears. They were caterers. They bought a restaurant.

Clippy ear cat! I have more than a few of those. Some intentional. Some not.
