The thing that hit me with sadness most (aside the horrible murder) is that when you see pictures of Brianna, her eyes are full of life and happiness.
And then you see pictures of these two, devoid of any spark. Dead inside.

This is so insane. When a country puts a guy like him behind them, there's no law that can't be changed to remove these kinds of protections and the circumstances at that point tend to exist where "the people" are perfectly OK changing even the most fundamental laws to facilitate getting rid of people like him permanently.
And if they can't get rid of him by law and he's overthrown, that much the more reason to stab him with 50 daggers.
Seems to be pretty effective at detecting that there's artillery within range.

If you see some footage of a yellow object with a gleaming tip flying towards an asteroid, ya'll know full well who he is.
There is not a single indicator that they would ever even consider to "assimilate" anyone.

These fabs (and pretty much ALL fabs) depend on tech to run their processes and make their chips, which isn't made in Taiwan.
If they do it for the silicon, they'll also need to take a good chunk of West Europe.
Would it set the West back a bit? Yes, but not all that much. There are non Eastern fabs up to date and the people in Taiwan trained to operate bulk fabs are probably on a shortlist for extraction targets too.

If I were Zelensky, I'd only allow Tucker to visit if he went to a specific location, was stripped completely naked, cavity searched and then brought, blindfolded, to an undisclosed location.
And then I'd still do the interview over Zoom.
