Hmm… ¡me lo parece bien fuerte!

It’s something I’ve experienced as well. Crying when I was angry was a real problem for me before T, now it doesn’t happen. I also find it harder to cry when I’m sad. I don’t feel sadness less deeply or anything, I just don’t cry like I used to.

I think it probably has a lot to do with not being cripplingly depressed from dysphoria, but I can feel the tendency creeping back if I’m late on my shot. I’m very convinced there is at least some hormonal component playing a part in that, just because it’s too consistent and its tendency to return when my hormone levels are low hasn’t changed much even as my main sources of dysphoria (periods and breasts) were removed.

it is verrrrrry recommended to inject into your thigh, injecting into your glute carries a high risk of accidentally hitting your sciatic nerve

Is this true for subq as well as IM? Because if so that might explain why some of my shots went so badly 😅

If I get Guantanamo’d for being trans I just want to say: I regret nothing and you cannot force the transness out of me in any way that matters.

I already lived through growing up not even knowing what trans was in the deep south. If you want to deadname and misgender me, I already spent more than half my life doing that shit. That’s old territory I rewalk every time I talk to my siblings. I already know what anti-trans people think, nothing they say about trans people is new or surprising. Decades of it did not break me, and neither would being labeled a terrorist over my gender identity.

In summation: 🖕🏳️‍⚧️🖕

I wonder if foil pans work like those foil emergency blankets and reflect heat back, and that’s why she likes it?

Or just cat being a cat. 50/50.

And I’m never fucking forgetting it, Target.

It’s like when your dad wakes up when you turn the TV channel. She was ~~watching~~ smelling it!

Yeah, I say hypothetical medication because as far as I can tell it remains that. Medicine is complicated enough that I’m not willing to rule it out as inherently impossible, but if such a thing exists I doubt we even know about it, given the sorry state of medication trials with regards to treating cis men as the default human.

No worries, this is literally the transfem community!

And yeah, I get all the relevant exams that my GP (who I’m out to) thinks I should get, I disclose what medications I’m on, beyond that it’s my discretion because it’s not their business.

I wrote cis men because I’m a trans man and was talking more about a hypothetical medication that would harm me if the doctor thought I was a cis man and didn’t out myself. But yeah, I’ve never been able to get an answer from anyone on how urgent care is going to kill me if I don’t tell the doctor I’m trans before I get antibiotics 🤷‍♂️

For an ongoing relationship with a primary care doctor or a specialist for a new health problem that my GP has referred me out for, sure. For something like the dentist or an urgent care doctor because I have an ear infection? Absolutely not, I’m not trying to deal with trans broken arm syndrome.

If I have concerns about medication interactions I’ll ask the pharmacist at my local LGBT health center. The odds of there being a medication only cis men can take (for reasons other than fetal health) or that the dosage is going to be drastically different because of my sex rather than my hormonal profile, medications, and weight is vanishingly small.

I read it as emphasis (since the text is also all caps)
