One of my cats has a high voice and has learned to do perfect attention-seeking sad meows when she wants attention and is too lazy to find me, and sings a loud frantic song to motivate me as I prepare food.

The other one purrs with the depth and volume of a large diesel engine, but mostly only lets out her low raspy meow to complain, which could be anything from "open the window" to "why did you stop petting me for .5 seconds?"

If I were casting voices for them in some type of Homeward Bound-type movie, they'd be Mila Kunis and Jennifer Tilly respectively.

This meeting could have been an astral projection.

In 5e, if they took their first level as Paladin, they would gain Heavy Armor Proficiency. Having proficiency in heavy armor would allow a normal Lockadin to cast their Warlock spells in armor just fine. They also both heavily favor Charisma, and if the Warlock took Pact of the Blade or Hexblade, they wouldn't even need strength for melee.

That's a normal Paladin/Warlock though, with this weird hotseat play they want to do, their self-imposed rules might not let them even use the other class' passive features, which could get awkward.

For an RP heavy session, do "Measure of a Man" with a warforged as Data. PCs are their advocate. See how long it takes someone to notice.

That's okay, their characters are thinly-veiled copies of Alucard, Donatello the turtle, Yusuke Urameshi, and Dug from Up, so it balances out.

Think of the unbridled roleplay potential.

Also maybe take Artificer to build yourself an iron lung.
