Israel can just invade the Netherlands and liberate its defendants, leaving no other survivors. The US (which has a Hague Invasion Act covering any of its own citizens in the event of such a trial) would provide logistical support, either openly or tacitly, and the IDF could use German air bases for staging.
Perfectly normal diplomacy
My money’s on Armenia being the next one out. They had a democratic movement winning power (against the objections of Russia), which was followed by Russia shirking its peacekeeping obligations when Azerbaijan invaded Nagorno-Karabakh, so there’s no love lost for Russia in Yerevan these days.
The Daily Express is a trashy populist tabloid from the UK. They lean Brexity, and are right-wing as far as you can be with only gut feeling rather than ideology, so slagging off Biden (after the post-Brexit trade deal failed to eventuate) and/or getting on the Trumpist bandwagon are not out of character. As far as political analysis goes, you may as well consult a tarot reader.
What does Prince Bonesaw say, though?

With the right, it’s always projection.
The Nazis started WW2 by sending a group of prisoners in Polish Army uniforms to attack a German radio station close to the border. I’m sure Putin is familiar with the history, and if he needed a casus belli, would consider it.
Not that it would make attempting to invade Finland (especially with Russia’s depleted forces) any less idiotic. At this stage, I’m not sure that Finland would even bother invoking Article 5.
Any ship can be a submarine given the appropriate encouragement. (See also: the Moskva.)
Japan’s problems are compounded by its ethnocentric concept of nationhood, where it is almost impossible for people who aren’t of ethnic Japanese descent to become citizens. There are third-generation descendants of Korean immigrants in Japan who have never lived in Korea, speak only Japanese and have only ever known Japanese culture, but who can never be legally Japanese.
