Anecdotal data point, my cat hates catnip. Spray it? He flips shit and runs. Drop some flakes? He approaches it slowly and then just walks away. Toys? Won't touch them.
But he'll eat the shit out of Churu

My cat refuses almost all wet food, but multiple vet demands say we need to provide more moisture. Churu is mostly the only thing we've found. The ingredients seem... relatively okay (versus most).
WHAT.
I will literally relocate my cat from carpet to hard floor and he will run back before resuming his barfing.
Somehow I can enter a room where my cat has his back to me and make noise at him or pet him or pick him up and he never even looks back.
I don't understand how he knows it's me. But also I'm not a cat.
