Pearl was adopted by my partner 3 years ago. At that time we couldn't pet her. She now jumps onto my lap (1 year ago) and sits on my partners chest with her ass in my partners face (3 months ago).
It's really neat seeing them get more comfortable and how long it takes.

depends on the ring? those turnkey quarter vending machines that sometimes have balls with plastic rings are probably still inexpensive.
