It is. Jews had their drivers' licences revoked and lost property rights to their cars on Dec 31th 1938.
It's hard, looking at the prologue of the darkest part of modern history replaying in realtime.
Unimaginable how it feels for those directly affected right now. And soon enough, nobody can watch from the sides.

That's true! And the letter that Kansas sent out specifically states:
"Upon surrendering the credential, you will be issued a new credential reflecting the gender identification consistent with statutory requirements."
So this time they still get to have their licenses. Its absolutely bullshit, and ridiculous, and abuse of power, and harassment, but just a baby step away from full on revoking of licenses.

Don’t worry, they have a plan, which is proceeding nearly unimpeded. Every day brings new horrors, which is part of the plan. The damage this administration has caused this country, and the whole world really, will be felt for generations, which is also part of the plan.
ETA: I am lucky to live in a state that has an inclusive Sec. of State and AG. Who’s to say what things will look like after the midterms…so now I’m stocking up on as much HRT as my insurance will cover. I now have about 6 months supply, for when they take our healthcare away. It will happen. Thankfully I’m able to get a vial every 30 days. I’m sure it loses efficacy after sitting unused for an extended period of time, but unless it would be unsafe to use, I’ll have at least something. I’m sure it’s fine, but I’d really prefer to not have to go DIY.

It won't lose efficacy. Vials last for at least a year, and can last for (at least) up to three years. Inspect them for cloudiness, particles, and discoloration.
I also recommend you just buy homebrew vials online. Those vials contain way more doses than the ones you can get prescribed, and have other advantages too.

The way things are currently trending, I hold no hope of the midterms bringing about meaningful change. The fascists still have plenty of time to prepare their offensive, and those who are supposed to represent us are unwilling to do what is necessary to stop this.

I get what youre saying but, just like with license plates, your drivers license is technically state property. They just allow you to temporarily possess it. Point being that they can and will toss someone in jail for refusing to hand it over, which is surely worse than just handing it over. Fucked as the reasons may be that they want it back
