Did she say how often they went up there? I'd be worried my cat would just stay up there all the time and I'd never get any cuddles

She said she loved sitting on the couch and seeing them above. While she didn’t specifically address how long they spend there, I would assume it’s a lot. It’s like kitty paradise!

hell I'd chill up there all day if I fit and it held my weight...

“You’re going to need a bigger bowl.”

(You should read that in Roy Schneider’s voice.)

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

Well.

You could always be a bit slow about feeding them. They’ll at least come down to tell you about it.

(Can’t help with the cuddles though.)

You're taking me back to 2005 with this one, and I am not complaining.

"This ladies' husband" is a really odd way of stating it. Who? Why not just name the person? Or does the person even matter?

[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 39 points 1 month ago (1 children)

In her post, she said “my husband” without naming him. So this was my way of communicating that.

[–] Clent@lemmy.dbzer0.com -1 points 1 month ago

Probably could have left it at "someone did a thing" since you didn't include the context of the wife's husband. 🤷‍♂️

I was a bit confused by the wording as well. Not enough to complain but apparently I was bothered enough to expand on someone else's complaint.

I found a picture of one cat's grandpa.

Those are some brave cats.

The anchors securing that structure looks like it would support a mid sized teenager at least.
