The scientists studying these elephants have hypothesized that they are under habitat stress. This is why they are utterly exhausted after taking a long journey to look for food and shelter in a place not over populated by humans. The Chinese were documenting them and making sure they survive but still pretty eye opening.
So modern society is stressful even to elephants. Great.
