Can someone explain to me why ULTRAKILL is often connected to trans memes? Is it that the dev is on the cool side and openly supports it? Because as far as I understood it, the game itself is about a blood fueled robot fighting through hell in order to entertain some bored computer terminals.

Idk, but I'm guessing it appeals to people who liked what Doom 2016 did, but wanted a kickass indie version.

My autistic brain loved Doom. Many autistic people are trans like me. Us trans people tend to be anti capitalist. Anti capitalists tend to be open to indie projects.

ULTRAKILL just happens to be at an intersection of special interests where certain types of trans people tend to be. That's just my guess though
