I know it's forced perspective but I can only conclude that this absolute unit stepped into the bowl/dish and shattered it upon impact. Look unto him and tremble in awe of this lad.

I suppose using chopsticks to pick up each piece of food individually would be slower...

Still, dumb human for not picking up the far larger bowl shards first, and then using a dustpan and brush to sweep up all the cat food easily.
