Is that a breed with those ears? I’ve never seen a cat with ears like that before

[–] PugJesus@lemmy.world 32 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Scottish Fold or similar breed? Poor fellows generally have health problems.

[–] Cadeillac@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

I don't believe that is a Scottish Fold. Look carefully and it looks like it barely has ears at all

This could be a Garfield strip.

I hate people who counts in months.

[–] bran_buckler@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Well it’s been 24 months since I’ve last heard that kind of complaint…

0.03 months for me.

Strong emotions over something that will never affect you.

Because it forces me to do maths. I also hate maths.

That cats eyes are so cartoonish

What kind of dog is that?

And is that suffering from liver failure or something? What is up with its eyes.

[–] milkisklim@lemm.ee 7 points 2 years ago

It's a cat.

[–] bran_buckler@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

It looks like an English Springer Spaniel to me. And what do you mean about the eyes? What looks wrong to you?

[–] WoahWoah@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (1 children)

Maybe just the coloration of the photo, but the whites look yellow, i.e., jaundiced.

Look at the color of the white fur and then the color of the "whites" of its eyes.

It's also really bizarre looking because it's usually really difficult to see the whites of a cats eyes.

[–] boobs_@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (1 children)

The whites look normal as far as I can see on my phone. There isn't much detail but it seems to match the whiteness of the wall and his fur

Okee doke. If my cat had eyes like that, I would be getting some labs done. Liver problems aren't necessarily unusual for felines. But, it's not my cat, so whatever.

[–] roscoe@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

To me it looks like the green from the iris bleeding in due to low resolution, not yellow.

[–] WoahWoah@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Yeah that makes some sense. I thought it might just be a result of the resolution or if they applied a filter.
